Speaking as someone who considers herself painfully camera shy, working with Jen made the process not only easy, but enjoyable. Her eye for beautiful compositions, special (unexpected) moments, her ability to edit a photo in a way that bring tears to my eyes... Two of the most stand out memories for me in the sessions our family has had with Jen are a moment she caught between my daughter and my husband that, when it showed up in our gallery, really unleashed the waterworks. It was special because nobody even knew it had been photographed. Another was a moment in my maternity session, Jen was helping me settle into a spot (not easy when you're 9 months pregnant!) and my daughter had posed herself in a mirror image. Jen was on-point, always ready, and captured the most charming shot, my little girl and me... perhaps one of the last photos of the two of us before she became a big sister. Jen took our newborn daughter's photos. Not only did the pictures turn out better than I could ever expected, but she took them in the comfort of our home!
